Table A.1 · Terms and authoritative references

Term Meaning Reference
Organ One bounded repository with one anatomical responsibility Organ registry, Table 4.0
Connectome Repository-local graph of symbols, files and operational boundaries Axon
DeltaReportV1 Change-set-bound structural blast-radius envelope Axon / Soma contract
Concern A curated invariant with a lifecycle, evidence and promotion rules Soma lifecycle, Fig. 4.4.2
OTE Ontology, Topology, Epistemology: the declarative manifest defining a seat's memory domain, mounted rings and evidence rules engram.ote.v1
LCB Lower confidence bound: the conservative confidence estimate used with minimum-sample thresholds for memory graduation; high full-posterior LCB alone is insufficient without attested strong evidence Graduation prerequisites
Seat A provisioned agent identity and work context, with its own OTE, role and seat-local memory overlay Cortex
Rig An OpenRig grouping of one or more agent seats; the M3 ring is the rig / mission blackboard, not the repository ring Memory topology
Oracle An evidence-producing evaluator, such as a structural check, model rubric, sealed test or human verdict; these are distinct evidence classes, not interchangeable passes Oracle and gate contract
M0–M4 Fleet canon, role, repository, rig and seat memory rings Engram
System 1 Stateless rubric verification plane Thalamus HTTP
System 2 Reasoning plane with session affinity Thalamus
Not evaluated Requested work did not run; never a pass Gate exit contract
vitals.v1 Local JSONL record of hooks, gates and requested/evaluated oracles Vitals contract
Early A limited component, not a verified production integration Hippocampus
S0–S11 Numbered slices of the CNS hardening programme, from clean baselines through knowledge-layer interoperability; a recorded verification scope, not a live health check or version number Programme slice index (source access required)
S6 The guard-immunity and graduation-receipts slice within that programme; covers signed overrides, shadow promotion and reverts, with explicit sync limitations in its record S6 record (source access required)

Note A.1 · Definition and provenance

The OTE expansion and rig/seat terminology come from Engram's OTE specification at revision 7d23fbf (source access required). The definitions above are usable without that source access.

Registry labels such as S0–S11 verified retain their programme-record basis. They do not certify a current installation, a live service, every planned client, or the absence of documented limitations. In particular, the Engram plate's S6 guard-sync limitation is not erased by the broader programme label; consult the slice record before depending on replication of guard behavior.
